INTERWOVEN
We are not meant to live in isolation. Community is a crucial part of life, at every stage: it grows us, teaches us, refines, encourages and ultimately gives life meaning. We surround ourselves with a tribe, a network that can help us when we falter, and sustain us as we run towards our end. This weave is a continuation upon the theme of "dwell". The order and balance of the plain weave becomes asymmetrical with the variation of widths and sizes of the second-scale weave, as well as the addition of elements of color throughout. The statement is plain: in a community, unity is not achieved through uniformity, on the contrary, we need variety to thrive.
Handwoven, wool and alpaca.
