PILLOWS
There is beauty in reconciliation. Through these pillows I intended to take something and give it a new life. The process of taking a fabric, perfectly constructed to cut and make a new composition gives time to rest in the idea of rivival and renewal. Working abstractly within each piece I chose each cut by color, contrast, and composition. With each stitch I joined the fabrics together to make something much more interesting than before. To reconcile with someone is scary, and most times dreaded. But it’s when we engage with each other that we can become something much more beautiful than alone.
