I am enamored with the idea of taking something and putting it back together. I chose to use the concept of a rug to communicate the idea of reconcilliation within a home. Having grown up in a home that was split, I still cannot lo se that fascination with piecing back together something that is broken, and how beauty can be found within these unexpecing places. To humble yourself and find commonality with another, is such a rare, delicate refinement; something that is necessary.
